Autumn is also the season, but these days in Japan many schools like elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools hold their sports meetings in May or June.

But these days, some schools tend to prefer no-win-no-lose situations. They want their kids just to have fun, and to avoid competing.
Of course, not all the schools are like that, but...
