Minatogawa Tunnel
Minatogawa Tunnel, Kobe.
It's the first river tunnel in Japan constructed over 100 years ago.
It's not used as a tunnel now, but it is preserved by the residents living in the area as a monument of M7.2 Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995, for it didn't get any damage from the major disaster.
Ususally it's closed, but it's open to the public on the third Saturday every month so that you can see the inside.
Sometimes small events like mini concerts are held there.
It's not very popular even among people living in Kobe, but it's a fascinating secret spot in Kobe.
