Wakakusa Yamayaki

An annual event of the new year, Wakakusa Yamayaki will be held tomorrow in Nara!
Wakakusayama(Mt. Wakakusa), located close to Nara Park, is covered with grass, and the sacred fire brought by the priests of the shrines and temples nearby is set to burn the mountain down in order to pray for peace of the world.

You can enjoy the fireworks before the actuel Yamayaki.

(Fireworks starts at 6:15pm. Yamayaki starts at 6:30pm.)
